''Gruntruck''

Em clima Grunge , descobri essa banda ''Gruntruck'' que foi uma banda formada em 1989 em Seatle. Depois eu vou falar sobre tribos urbanas ,  por Ben McMillan e Scott McCullum, ambos previamente do Skin Yard. Tommy Niemeyer do The Accüsed e Tim Paul, previamente do Napalm Beach e Final Warning, fecharam a formação inicial e clássica. Seu som era descrito como grunge, e a banda focava mais no lado metal do gênero.

A banda lançou apenas dois álbuns. Eles fizeram uma turnê pelos Estados Unidos e Canadá com o Alice in Chains Outono de 1992, assim como uma turnê em 1993 com o Pantera, que estavam divulgando seu álbum Vulgar Display of Power. De acordo com Sean Kinney, o Gruntruck se tornou a banda mais apoiada pelo Alice in Chains, ao lado do Screaming Trees na turnê do álbum do Alice, Dirt. Em 1996, o Gruntruck termina uma batalha na justiça contra a Roadrunner para encerrar o contrato1 . A banda venceu a batalha, mas com um custo muito alto. O baixista Tim Paul sai da banda e é subsituído por Alex Sibbald e, seguido de uma breve turnê com a banda Circus of Power, baterista Scott McCullum também sai. em 1996, McCullum é subsituido por Josh Sinder, que tocara antes na banda The Accüsed para gravar um EP com 3 faixas chamado "Shot". 

No fim dos anos 90, a clássica formação resolve se reunir para vários shows e gravações que nunca foram lançadas. Em 2000, a banda teve uma temporada muito bem sucedida, apresentando muitos shows para os fãs mais ansiosos pela banda, no entanto, a banda se dissolve em 2002, deixando para trás os rumores de um possível álbum de raridades inéditas que podem ou não podem vir à tona num futuro muito próximo.

''Sopor Aeternus''

Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble of Shadows é o nome de uma banda alemã de darkwave. A sua sonoridade traz incorporado influências das bandas eletro-góticas alemãs da década de 1980, bem como, um forte apelo instrumental.

A postura fechada da vocalista escolhendo pelo anonimato, a recusa de se apresentar ao vivo, e a escassez de informações tornou praticamente impossível separar a verdade da mera especulação quanto a sua origem . Sabe-se que Varney freqüentou por algum tempo a casa noturna Negativ, em Frankfurt, onde conheceu duas pessoas que foram atraídas por suas críticas sobre uma banda que se apresentava. As conversas que apontavam para a necessidade de renovação na cena musical foi o que gerou um esboço inicial do que viria a ser Sopor Aeternus.

Os primeiros lançamentos da banda se deram entre 89 e 92 com três fitas de demonstração: " Es reiten die Toten so schnell " " , " Rufus on my lips " e " Till time and times are done ". A enfase na morte e os mortos-vivos atraiu para a série o nome de " Undead Trilogy ", trilogia dos mortos em tradução livre.

Mas foi o ano de 95 a marcar a história da banda. Apresentada na coletânea vampírica " What Sweet Music They Make " de distribuição mundial com a canção " The Feast Of Blood" o trabalho passou a ser reconhecido mundialmente.

No mesmo ano Varney participou da compilação " Jekura - Deep the Eternal Forest " com quatro faixas: duas canções do " White Onyx Elephant ", projeto instrumental paralelo ao Sopor Aeternus e dois covers do Black Sabbath, " A National Acrobat" e " Paranoid ", publicadas com seus nomes invertidos e acentuados de forma estranha. Ainda no ano de 95 foram lançados os álbuns " Todeswunsch" - Sous le soleil de Saturne " e o EP " Ehjeh Ascher Ehjeh " limitado. Iniciou-se assim a carreira da banda intensificando os trabalhos a partir de 97, estando atualmente no seu 16º álbum, fora as reedições e participações em coletâneas.

O som conta com uma vasta gama de instrumentos, que vai de efeitos eletrônicos até sinos. O mais freqüente são diversos instrumentos de sopro, além de variados tipos de guitarras (acústicas ou eletrônicas) e percussão. Numa rara e exímia demonstração de verdadeiro talento, a vocalista é capaz de cantar com vozes masculinas e femininas. O diferencial está na sua acentuada gravidade fúnebre, com vozes que variam de um tom provocativo a lamúrias. A banda ao longo de seus álbuns vem evoluindo de uma linha electrogoth para o instrumental.

Os temas das músicas incluem a morte, a sexualidade conturbada da vocalista, religiosidade pagãs, suicídio, sadismo entre outros. Contudo, a morte tem papel fundamental na obra. A banda que é formada apenas por Anna-Varney Cantodea , que canta e compõe todas as músicas, chamava se inicialmente Sopor Aeternus . The Ensemble of Shadows foi adicionado posteriormente ao nome, segundo a própria Varney, como um tributo à influência dos descarnados sobre seu trabalho.

A obsessão pela morte está no nome da banda desde o início — sopor aeternus, significa "sono eterno" em latim – e pode também ser percebida em várias de suas músicas, "Es reiten die Toten so schnell", por exemplo, foi baseada em um verso de " Lenore", de "Gottfried August Bürger" — citada no "Drácula de Bram Stoker" — que significa "porque os mortos cavalgam rápido". A música "Dark Delight", dedicada ao "Fantasma de Montparnasse" que, dizia-se, assombrar o cemitério Père Lachaise, em Paris teve uma versão ao vivo incluída na reedição do primeiro álbum da banda, contrariando declarações de que a banda não se apresentava ao vivo. Lendo o encarte do CD descobre-se que a música foi executada e gravada ao vivo, sem platéia. Mais um tributo a influência dos descarnados sobre seu trabalho.

Seguindo de perto a temática da morte, as canções da banda abordam de forma intimista e pessoal os conflitos da vocalista com sua sexualidade . Seu nome verdadeiro é segredo, sendo "Anna-Varney Cantodea" um pseudônimo. Em suas fotografias Varney predominantemente aparece nua. Sua área genital é trabalhada em computador, freqüentemente figurando uma vagina, ou simplesmente ausência de órgãos genitais.

Correram boatos de que teria nascido intersexual. Sabe-se atualmente que isso não é verdade. Anna-Varney nasceu homem, e disse a revista alemã de metal Witchcraft que o motivo de ser trabalhada em computador, ao invés de se transformar cirurgicamente em uma mulher biológica, está relacionado a conflitos espirituais decorrentes do procedimento.

De todos os álbuns, Voyager - Jugglers de Jusa e Traveller espiral inexperienced" são os que abordam de forma mais clara e intensa a transsexualidade e seus conflitos em passagens como,

"I saw my image reflected, while my genitals were rotting off" ("Vi minha imagem refletida, enquanto meus órgãos genitais estavam apodrecendo." )

e "I wish I cut my genitals and threw them to the dogs" ("Eu queria cortar meus genitais e atirá-los aos cachorros" ).

''Dissection''

A Cada dia que se passa eu acabo descobrindo mais bandas de Metal . 

Dessa vez escutei pela primeira vez ''Dissection'' que foi uma banda de Black Metal da Suécia .

Formada em 1989 ,  pelo guitarrista e vocalista Jon Nödtveidt. A princípio a proposta da banda era um Death Metal com influências do Black Metal melódico, mas com o tempo se tornaram apenas Death Metal melódico, mantendo a temática da banda, que girava em torno de ocultismo, satanismo , trevas e morte . 

Eu não recomendo para quem não adere á este tipo de som . Voce tem que estar mais preparada pra procurar uma banda desse tipo , pelo menos na minha opinião . Eu tenho contato com o Metal há anos , então pra mim uma banda de generos do metal não faz muita diferença . Para os quem não conhecem , nem queira saber . Tem gente que só fica no Rock Alternativo .

Eu escutei um single , e é bem pesada a música . Eu achei sensacional o vocal , e a qualidade de som que eles proporcionam . ''Where Dead Angels Lie' . Pra quem é amante de Metal , vai adorar isso aqui . Existem milhões de bandas de rock metal  espalhadas pelo mundo . Principalmente há uma variedade na Suécia e entre outros países , todos frios . 

Bom em breve voces verão , porque o ''ROCK NIGHT'' Estréia nesse sábado a partir da meia noite . O Rock Night só vai passar sessões de clipes rock n roll e muito heavy metal , se preparam !!!!!!!! A noite vai esquentar no Classic Rock .

''Suicide Commando''

Acabei de descobrir hoje , nunca tinha escutado uma música dessa banda , fui procurar no youtube e achei . Curti bastante . Está dentro dos estilos que eu gosto . 

  nome de uma banda belga de EBM e futurepop. Ela foi criada em 1988, por Johan Van Roy, que iniciara seu projeto com os sucessos “See you in hell” e “Hellraiser”. O nome da banda foi dada a partir de uma música intitulada "Suicide Commando" da banda alemã No More. Era uma música que Johan gostava e que o significado o fascinava muito.

Johan sempre tenta passar uma mensagem com o Suicide Commando e sempre cria uma atmosfera em cada música. Segundo ele, quer que gostem de suas músicas mas também quer que ouçam suas letras e pensem sobre elas. Diz preferir "usar letras curtas e com uma verdadeira mensagem do que longas e sem significado algum".

Disturbed foi uma banda que logo de cara assim , eu comecei a curtir . São excelentes as músicas.

E Por último essa incrivel criatura do heavy metal . 

É uma das bandas mais pesadas que eu ja escutei em toda minha vida . Eu me arrepio de escutar o som dessa banda . Foi o metal extremo que eu mais curto atualmente .

Essa semana é véspera do rock ! Pra celebrar o dia 13 de julho com muito rock n roll , voce vai conferir a lista de bandas que mais sou amante e também vão curtir durante a semana toda umas novidades que vão vir por aí , e aproveitando que o classic rock já vai pra 200 posts . Vamos lá.

Primeiramente eu vou começar com as mais lights rs , depois só vem metal e pesado .

Well I'll start by talking Aerosmith, yes I like a lot of their songs from the 2000 season, was finally through the single Jaded'''' 2001 I fell in love with Aerosmith, and started listening to other older songs ... ... incidentally this song touched me a lot, because of good times and remarkable life. I've seen most of the clips, and I enclose here with Aerosmith's Sweet Emotion'' music'' very good sound. That's it.

Then I love the sound of this guy, the songs are wonderful. What is Bon Jovi, I like it more when I listened to their singles of the 80s and 90s. and in 2002 I enjoyed the hell out of them a sound that is'' Everyday'' went straight to video. Very good indeed. And finish with a classic that it is'' Blaze of Glory'', I love this music, sensational Jon Bon Jovi.




Oasis

Oasis I started to have taste for music recently. Had researched music of the 90s, when I listened to the'' Wonderwall'' which is the best damn music of the guys, I enjoyed the hell out. Oasis was very good in the 90s. For those who like rock english, sensational!


R.E.M

ReM was because of that beautiful song of 91 if I'm not mistaken,'' Losing My Religion'', they were successful in the late 80s, has'' Imitation of Life which is a very pleasant sound.

Fear Factory, discovered atavés the Mortal Kombat lol the soundtrack of the movie that really is the best. I heard the song that was the theme of the movie, then went down another, they send fine saw. Liked.


Dreams of Sanity

Dream Of Sanity is already a more different style, I define as gothic metal. Their songs, the singers are women, she has a wonderful voice, reminiscent of Lacuna Coil. The songs are very good and well prepared, the cd I have is 90s.

Manson was when I heard'' Sweet Dreams'' I listened to this song so much laughter.

The Classic Rock. I love Led, it is simply Fodastico. The sound of them is the best in guitar and drums.


Rolling stones

Rolling Stones ja short time I do not have much to talk about this band.
It's like the Beatles .... a classic, a story of the 60s rock ... . anyway.


Stone Temple Pilots

Had a beautiful reason to like Bauhaus, super classic. They were inspired by my idol horror classic, so they created the song'''' Bela Lugosi is Dead! Sensational.
